Joshua D. Miller has a great walkthrough on how to deploy MathType using Munki.

Just something to keep in mind—MathType works fine in El Capitan… just not with Microsoft Office 2016 (you will not be able to edit formulas, at least as of the writing of this blog post), so if you use MathType, stay with Microsoft Office 2011.

12 March, 2018 Update: I’ve been getting mixed results on this since having originally posted this up. Someone else on the Mac Admins Slack contacted Design Science recently asking about silent activations on the Mac and was just pointed back to that same archived blog post, even though it doesn’t always work.
