Logic Pro error: Audio file does not have sufficient access privileges. An overview cannot be saved.

If you’re getting Audio file does not have sufficient access privileges. An overview cannot be saved. when opening up Logic Pro X projects, this is what you have to do:


Go to File > Project Settings > Assets.


Check all the boxes!

Save the project, close it, and then re-open it, and you shouldn’t get those error messages any more.

    Hi, I am having this issue but I do not have the “assets” option in the list.

    Is there another way around this problem?

      Are you on 10.2.4? It should be there under Project Settings. If not, can you post up (or link to) a screenshot of what you see in your menu?

    What you do then, is to check Preferences – Advanced Tools -check Show Advanced Tools and then go back to Project Settings.
